They Tried to Scare the Cattle Markets Higher, but that was Faded, and the Feeders Closed Lower. Hogs Lower as well.

Grains were uniformly higher early this morning but some of that strength fizzled as positioning squaring ahead of Tuesday's WASDE may have capped upside movement. Livestock markets were mostly mixed with little new news.

Although the seasonal tendency for October live cattle is firm going into expiration, it does not always suggest a new contract high.
